Painting with watercolor allows the artist to interpret the subject matter with all their heart and soul. It takes heart and soul to incorporate and interpret the light seen in nature into a watercolor painting. 

Using the paper as your white, carefully blending the colors, all the while maintaining the transparency, allows for the true nature of the medium to shine through each piece.

Many years of experience contributes to the clarity and depth of field in all the watercolors shown. Although the artist’s skill will be put to the test once they attempt Miniatures in Watercolor.
